Scope
This policy applies to all employees, directors, contractors, consultants, and subcontractors engaged by Cuttingedge Projects Ltd. It covers our offices, remote-working arrangements, project delivery activities, procurement decisions, travel, IT operations, cloud hosting choices, and all other business activities under our control or influence.
Our Environmental Commitments

- Use energy-efficient devices, cloud architectures, and hosting options where available.
- Optimise compute, storage, and network usage to avoid unnecessary consumption and idle capacity.
- Encourage virtual collaboration to reduce business travel and associated emissions.
Materials and Waste
- Minimise paper use by defaulting to digital documentation, approvals, and records.
- Reuse or recycle office and IT equipment wherever possible and dispose of electronic waste responsibly.
- Reduce consumables and avoid unnecessary packaging when procuring goods or services.
Procurement and Supply Chain
- Consider environmental performance alongside cost, quality, security, and delivery capability when selecting suppliers.
- Assess suppliers proportionately for sustainability practices, regulatory compliance, and responsible sourcing.

Objectives, Monitoring and Continual Improvement
To make this policy effective, the company will set practical environmental objectives and review progress through management oversight. These may include reducing unnecessary travel, improving cloud efficiency, increasing use of digital documentation, and strengthening supplier sustainability checks. Performance will be reviewed periodically, and corrective actions will be taken where targets are not being met.
Legal and Other Requirements
Cuttingedge Projects Ltd will identify and comply with applicable environmental laws, regulations, and contractual commitments relevant to our business activities. Where client requirements exceed our internal standards, we will work to meet those requirements within agreed project and operational parameters.
Awareness and Training
Environmental responsibilities are communicated through onboarding, policy access, management briefings, and periodic internal awareness activities. Staff are expected to understand the environmental aspects of their role and to apply the policy in a proportionate and practical manner.
Review and Approval
This policy will be reviewed at least annually, or earlier if required by legislation, operational change, or customer expectation. It will be revised where necessary to ensure it remains fit for purpose and aligned to the company’s sustainability objectives.
